House Account Clause Samples

A House Account clause defines specific customers or accounts that are managed directly by the company rather than through its agents or representatives. Typically, this clause lists or describes which clients are considered 'house accounts,' meaning agents do not receive commissions or credit for sales to these customers. The practical function of this clause is to prevent disputes over commission entitlements and to clearly delineate which sales are excluded from agent compensation, thereby ensuring clarity and reducing potential conflicts between the company and its sales force.
