Housing Assistance Payments on Behalf of Families. (1) Housing assistance payments shall be paid to the Owner for units under lease for occupancy by Families in accordance with the Contract. The housing assistance payment will cover the difference between the Contract Rent and that portion of the rent payable by the Family as determined in accordance with the HUD-established schedules and criteria.
