Common use of ILLEGALITY AND SEVERANCE Clause in Contracts

ILLEGALITY AND SEVERANCE. If any term of this Agreement is deemed to be or becomes invalid, or unenforceable, that term shall be construed or deemed amended to conform to applicable laws so as to be valid and enforceable or, if it cannot be so construed or deemed to be amended without altering in a material way the intentions of the contracting parties, that term shall be deleted automatically from this Agreement and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
