Illegally Dumped Waste Clause Samples
The 'Illegally Dumped Waste' clause defines the responsibilities and procedures related to waste that has been disposed of unlawfully on a property. Typically, this clause outlines which party is responsible for identifying, reporting, and remediating such waste, and may specify timelines or standards for cleanup. Its core practical function is to allocate responsibility for addressing environmental hazards and potential legal liabilities arising from illegal dumping, thereby protecting the parties involved and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Illegally Dumped Waste. In the event there is illegally dumped waste not contained or securable within the vehicle, the Contractor shall immediately notify SPD Communications. If the Contractor is able to tow the vehicle without prior removal of the waste, the Contractor shall do so. Otherwise SPD Communications shall cancel the request for impoundment.
Illegally Dumped Waste. The Contractor shall be responsible for clean-up of illegally dumped Waste and litter within the Site boundary. The Contractor has the sole responsibility to contain all Waste and litter and other refuse within the Site, and the Contractor shall be held responsible and liable for the cleanup of all refuse blown from within the Site to fences and property located outside the Site boundaries. This includes litter blown from all vehicles traveling within the landfill site.
Illegally Dumped Waste. County will incur significant costs if it must collect increased amounts of illegally dumped waste.
