Imbalance listing requests Clause Samples

The "Imbalance listing requests" clause defines the process and conditions under which a party may request the listing of an energy imbalance for settlement or market purposes. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for submitting such requests, the required documentation, and the timeframes within which requests must be made. For example, it may specify that a market participant can request an imbalance listing if there is a discrepancy between scheduled and actual energy delivery. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear and standardized mechanism for addressing and rectifying imbalances, thereby ensuring accurate settlements and reducing disputes between parties.
