Common use of IMPERFECT WORK Clause in Contracts

IMPERFECT WORK. If, it shall appear that work has been executed with unsound imperfect or unskilled workmanship, or with materials of an imperfect or any inferior quality or otherwise not in accordance with the contract documents the contractor shall at his own cost rectify, reform, remove or reconstruct the same, either in the whole or in part, as may be directed by the Engineer whether or not the value of any such work of materials shall have been included in any payment made in the contractor.
