Inadvertent omission to insure. The insurance by this section extends to include buildings anywhere in the territorial limits where you have an obligation to insure whether the buildings are owned by or leased by you or in which you are interested as mortgagees but which have inadvertently been left uninsured provided always that: a) our liability under this clause will be in addition to the sums insured, but our total liability for such amount payable under this clause will not exceed £250,000; b) you will give notice in writing to us immediately you become aware of an omission to insure and will pay the appropriate premium from the date upon which the insurance of the property became your responsibility; c) you will carry out at least annually, a check of all properties owned by you or leased by you and for which you are responsible to ensure that effective insurance is in force for such properties; d) we are the sole provider of loss of rent insurance in respect of your properties owned in connection with the business and where you have an obligation to arrange such insurance.
