Incoming Tenant Clause Samples
The 'Incoming Tenant' clause defines the rights and obligations of a new tenant who is taking over a lease, either through assignment, subletting, or at the start of a new tenancy. This clause typically outlines the process for transferring responsibilities such as rent payments, maintenance duties, and compliance with existing lease terms from the outgoing tenant to the incoming one. By clearly specifying these details, the clause ensures a smooth transition between tenants and helps prevent disputes over liabilities or obligations during the changeover.
