Common use of INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS Clause in Contracts

INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS. This Contract is subject to Executive Order 14026, the regulations issued by the Secretary of Labor in 29 CFR part 23 pursuant to the Executive Order, and specifically to all the provisions set forth in Appendix A to 29 CFR part 23. The Contractor shall pay to workers, while performing in the United States, and performing on, or in connection with, this contract, the applicable minimum wage per the Executive Order. Accordingly, Appendix A is hereby incorporated by reference and has the same force and effect as if set forth in full in this contract. The full text of the final rule, to include the regulations and clause “Increasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors” at 29 CFR part 23, is available at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/current/title-29/part-23/appendix-Appendix%20A%20to%20Part%2023. The Contractor is responsible for subcontractor compliance with the requirements of this clause and may be held liable for unpaid wages due subcontractor workers. The Contractor shall include this clause, including this paragraph, in all subcontracts, regardless of dollar value, that are subject to Service Contract Labor Standards statute (formerly known as the Service Contract Act) or the Wage Rate Requirements (Construction) statute (formerly known as the Xxxxx Xxxxx Act), and are to be performed in whole or in part in the United States.
