Common use of Indemnification of the Lessor Clause in Contracts

Indemnification of the Lessor. In the event that the Lessee fails to fulfill any of its obligations under this Agreement, then the Lessor will be entitled (but not obligated), in addition to and without derogating from its rights and powers under this Agreement and the law, to pay for performance everything which the Lessee should have done, and the Lessor will be required to reimburse and pay the Lessor, immediately upon its demand, for any payment or expense incurred by the Lessor in this regard.
