Common use of Indemnities continue Clause in Contracts

Indemnities continue. The indemnities in this contract are continuing obligations, independent of the other obligations of the indemnifying party and continue after settlement or termination. The other party need not incur expense or make payment before enforcing a right of indemnity under this contract. A party giving an indemnity agrees to pay amounts due under that indemnity on demand from the indemnified party.
