Common use of Indemnity by the Consultant Clause in Contracts

Indemnity by the Consultant. The Consultant indemnifies MLA against any liability, loss, damage, costs (including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis) or expense incurred by MLA as a result of or in connection with: any fraud, wilful default, negligent or unlawful act or omission of the Consultant or any of its personnel in connection with this Agreement; and the death or injury of any person, or loss or damage to property arising from the performance or non-performance by the Consultant of its obligations under this Agreement.
