Independent Exercise of Medical Judgment. The employment relationship between the Employer and Hospitalist shall not affect the independent exercise of Hospitalists’ professional judgment in the practice of medicine so long as it is consistent with the current standards of medical care in the state and complies with the rules, policies, and procedures approved by Employer consistent with these standards.
