Common use of Independent Grantee Clause in Contracts

Independent Grantee. The Agreement shall not be construed as creating an employer/employee relationship, a partnership, or a joint venture. The Grantee’s services shall be those of an independent Grantee. The Grantee agrees and understands that the Agreement does not grant any rights or privileges established for employees of the City.
