Common use of Independent Significance Clause in Contracts

Independent Significance. The restrictive covenants contained herein shall be construed as independent of the other provisions of this Agreement, and the existence of any claim or cause of action of Employee, whether predicated on this Agreement or otherwise, shall not constitute a defense to the enforcement by the Company of any of the restrictive covenants contained herein.
