Indexation Principles pursuant to the Contract. 2.1 The Contracting Parties hereby confirm that the Landlord is entitled under the Contract to increase the Rent by the total Index value every year, i.e. by the total average annual inflation rate expressed as an increase in the average consumer price index in the Czech Republic for the previous calendar year, which is published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO) in the following year (hereinafter ‘Index’) – hereinafter ‘Indexation’. If Indexation is applied, the Rent increase from 1 May of the relevant year will correspond to the percentage of the increase of consumer prices.
