Indicator Performance Scoring. Under each of the eight (8) state evaluation criteria, sub elements referred to as indicators are outlined (see Appendix I). The indicators of each state criterion should be a helpful factor in the determination by the evaluator of the teacher's performance. However, the parties to this Agreement concur that the evaluator is to make an overall judgment of what each of the summative criterion should be based on the observations and the analysis of evidence available. The parties hereto further agree to review this methodology on an annual basis. For comprehensive and focused evaluations, the final summative score shall be determined by an analysis of evidence. This analysis will be based on a holistic assessment of the teacher’s performance over the course of the year and a review of student growth measures as required by law.
