Individual In-Orbit Acceptance Clause Samples
The Individual In-Orbit Acceptance clause defines the process by which each satellite or spacecraft is formally accepted as operational once it has reached its designated orbit and passed specified performance tests. In practice, this clause outlines the criteria and procedures for verifying that the satellite functions as intended after launch, such as confirming communication capabilities, power generation, and payload operation. Its core function is to ensure that the buyer only assumes ownership and responsibility for each unit after it has been proven to meet contractual requirements, thereby allocating risk and clarifying acceptance standards.

(b) Individual In-Orbit Acceptance has occurred not later than five (5) days after achieving Individual In-Orbit Acceptance.
