Inexact Factorization Sample Clauses

Inexact Factorization. Using the exact inverse of Aε, with ε > 0 as a preconditioner as done in Figure 6.4, is clearly not practical if the problem is large. The efficient solution of the linear system requires an approximation of the inverse which can be computed at a relatively low cost in terms of memory and CPU time and which significantly reduces the number of iterations of the linear iterative solver. Many options exist how to obtain such an approximation. We consider first inexact factorization methods for preconditioning the linear system. While we will not follow this approach in this thesis, we believe that these methods are worth mentioning here since they have been shown to be very efficient when applied to the unsteady Navier-Xxxxxx equations for incompressible fluids [74, 77, 78] and their applicability to the Xxxxxxx flow (or Non-Newtonian fluid flow in general) should be investigated in the future. We begin by recalling two important types of inexact factorization methods applied to the unsteady Navier- Xxxxxx equations (for Newtonian fluids) before presenting some ideas how this may be used for the twofold saddle point problem (4.21) for Non-Newtonian fluids.

  • ROAD DIMENSIONS Purchaser shall perform road work in accordance with the dimensions shown on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET and the specifications within this road plan.

  • Target Population The Grantee shall ensure that diversion programs and services provided under this grant are designed to serve juvenile offenders who are at risk of commitment to Department.

  • Meteorological Data Reporting Requirement (Applicable to wind generation facilities only) The wind generation facility shall, at a minimum, be required to provide the Transmission Provider with site-specific meteorological data including: • Temperature (degrees Fahrenheit) • Wind speed (meters/second) • Wind direction (degrees from True North) • Atmosphere pressure (hectopascals) • Forced outage data (wind turbine and MW unavailability)

  • System Logging The system must maintain an automated audit trail which can 20 identify the user or system process which initiates a request for PHI COUNTY discloses to 21 CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY, 22 or which alters such PHI. The audit trail must be date and time stamped, must log both successful and 23 failed accesses, must be read only, and must be restricted to authorized users. If such PHI is stored in a 24 database, database logging functionality must be enabled. Audit trail data must be archived for at least 3 25 years after occurrence.

  • Unbundled Voice Xxxx - XX0 (XXX-XX0). Loops are 2-wire loop start circuits, will be non-designed, and will not have remote access test points. OC will be offered as a chargeable option on XX0 Xxxxx when reuse of existing facilities has been requested by NewPhone, however, OC is always required on UCLs that involve the reuse of facilities that are currently providing service. NewPhone may also order OC-TS when a specified conversion time is requested. OC-TS is a chargeable option for any coordinated order and is billed in addition to the OC charge. An Engineering Information (EI) document can be ordered as a chargeable option. The EI document provides Loop Make-Up information which is similar to the information normally provided in a Design Layout Record (DLR). Upon issuance of a non-coordinated order in the service order system, XX0 Xxxxx will be activated on the due date in the same manner and time frames that BellSouth normally activates POTS-type Loops for its customers.

  • Unbundled Voice Loop – SL2 (UVL-SL2 Loops may be 2-wire or 4-wire circuits, shall have remote access test points, and will be designed with a DLR provided to NewPhone. SL2 circuits can be provisioned with loop start, ground start or reverse battery signaling. OC is provided as a standard feature on XX0 Xxxxx. The OC feature will allow NewPhone to coordinate the installation of the Loop with the disconnect of an existing customer’s service and/or number portability service. In these cases, BellSouth will perform the order conversion with standard order coordination at its discretion during normal work hours.

  • ROAD TOLERANCES Purchaser shall perform road work within the tolerances listed below. The tolerance class for each road is listed on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Tolerance Class A B C Road and Subgrade Width (feet) +1.5 +1.5 +2.0 Subgrade Elevation (feet +/-) 0.5 1.0 2.0 Centerline alignment (feet lt./rt.) 1.0 1.5 3.0 1-6 ORDER OF PRECEDENCE Any conflict or inconsistency in the road plan will be resolved by giving the documents precedence in the following order:

  • Statistical Sampling Documentation a. A copy of the printout of the random numbers generated by the “Random Numbers” function of the statistical sampling software used by the IRO.

  • Unbundled Voice Loops (UVLs) 2.2.1 BellSouth shall make available the following UVLs:

  • Non-Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the high-side of the generator substation at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established a different power factor range that applies to all similarly situated non-synchronous generators in the control area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice. This power factor range standard shall be dynamic and can be met using, for example, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors, or a combination of the two. This requirement shall only apply to newly interconnecting non-synchronous generators that have not yet executed a Facilities Study Agreement as of September 21, 2016.
