Information Downloading. Restricting storage of the IMS Data on a recipient of information user’s desktop or laptops. Storage of IMS Data on a removable storage device (e.g., CD, tape, diskette, memory stick, USB drive, or similar devices), or on any device allowing uncontrolled access internally or externally is not permitted. Information downloading includes incidental copies of IMS Data created during processing and/or transmission of IMS Data. a. Recipients of IMS Data who are permitted to download the IMS Data (“Authorized Recipients”) may be permitted to do so only to their password protected desktops / laptops and not to any removable storage device allowing uncontrolled access, and that if IMS Data is downloaded to an Authorized Recipient of IMS Data’s laptop, the IMS Data must be stored in a manner that prevents access in the event the laptop is lost or stolen. b. Each Authorized Recipient must destroy all such IMS Data downloaded to their desktops or laptops upon completion of the services or project to be provided by such Authorized Recipient under the Agreement, as shall be set forth in the relevant Client Project Confirmation form. c. IMS Data may only be downloaded to removable storage devices, only as necessary and required to fulfill Service Provider’s business continuity and backup policy. All removable storage devices containing IMS Data must utilize an encryption technology preventing any access except by Authorized Recipients.
