INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS vendor may qualify for a competitive advantage applied to its bid when certain conditions are met. Such as, the vendor has marked on its bid submission that it is requesting to be considered a local vendor for bid evaluation purposes; the vendor provides documentation evidencing that it has the right to conduct business in the State of West Virginia; and the vendor submits an affidavit confirming that it has paid all applicable business taxes to the city or has a non-delinquent payment plan with the city and has had an active and current business and occupation tax account with the city collector during the entire preceding one-year period. INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS. This contract is expected to be funded in whole or in part using funds from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Section 70914 of the IIJA prohibits the use of these funds unless all iron, steel, and manufactured goods are produced in the United States. All iron and steel manufacturing processes must take place in the United States, except for metallurgical processes involving refinement of steel additives. There is no requirement for the origin of components and subcomponents of manufactured goods. Products listed at 48 CFR 25.104(a) have been determined to be unavailable in the United States and if required for the project may be purchased from foreign sources.
