The 'Information to Potential Members' clause requires that certain details about an organization, service, or agreement be provided to individuals before they decide to join or participate. Information to Potential Members a. The MCO shall, upon request, make the following information available to potential Members: 1. the identity, locations, qualifications and availability of MCO's network; 2. rights and responsibilities of Members; 3. appeal procedures; and 4. all covered items and services that are available either directly or indirectly or through referral and prior authorization.
Information to Potential Members. Informational materials for potential members shall also be provided in a manner and format that may be easily understood. The MCO shall make the following information available to potential Members, upon request: the locations, qualifications, non-English languages spoken by and availability of the MCO's network providers. The MCO shall provide a summary of this information to the DEPARTMENT, in a format to be approved by the DEPARTMENT. The DEPARTMENT shall provide the summary information to all potential Members. The MCO shall also provide oral interpretation services in all non-English languages to potential Members.
