Common use of Initial Health Assessment, Comprehensive Exam, and Follow-up Requirments for Children Entering or Re-entering Xxxxxx Care Clause in Contracts

Initial Health Assessment, Comprehensive Exam, and Follow-up Requirments for Children Entering or Re-entering Xxxxxx Care. All children entering or re-entering Xxxxxx Care must have: • A comprehensive Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) exam within thirty (30) calendar days of placement in Xxxxxx Care; and • A follow-up visit within ninety (90) calendar days of placement in Xxxxxx Care, as needed. Once the child is enrolled in the MCO, the MCO will be responsible for working with the assigned CPS worker to ensure these important health assessments, exams, and follow-up visits are performed timely.
