Common use of Initial obligations of the Company Clause in Contracts

Initial obligations of the Company. (1) The Company shall continue field and office geological, geophysical, geotechnical, engineering and environmental investigations and studies and marketing and finance studies and other matters necessary for the purposes of clauses 7 and 8 and to enable it to finalise and to submit to the Minister the detailed proposals referred to in clause 11. (2) The Company shall keep the State fully informed in writing at quarterly intervals from the Operative Date as to the progress and results of its operations under subclause (1) and supply to the Minister such information in relation thereto as the Minister may request from time to time. (3) The Company shall co‑operate with the State and consult with the representatives or officers of the State regarding matters referred to in subclauses (1) and (2) and any other relevant studies in relation to those subclauses that the Minister may wish the Company to undertake.
