Common use of Initial Payment and Royalty Rate Clause in Contracts

Initial Payment and Royalty Rate. For the licensed herein granted: (a) Licensee agrees to pay a sign-up fee of $ 100,000.00. (b) Licensee shall pay on earned royalty of Five Percent (5 %) of Licensee’s Gross Sales of Products and fifty percent (50%) of the sublicensing receipts. (c) Licensee shall pay an annual minimum royalty fee of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) for each licensed Product. (d) If Licensee has paid royalty amounts equal to or above the minimum required in (c) no further minimum payment is required. (e) Item (a), (b), and (c) commence six months after signing date of this licensing agreement.
