Common use of Initiated by University Clause in Contracts

Initiated by University. The UNIVERSITY may take action to terminate this contract under the following conditions: 1. If the STUDENT has violated the provisions of this contract, violated the rules of the UNIVERSITY, including any rules applicable to the residence halls, violated the laws of the State of California or the United States, or engages in conduct otherwise detrimental to themselves or to the welfare of other residents, the UNIVERSITY may serve a three-day notice to perform covenant or quit, to pay rent or quit, or to quit, whichever is appropriate.
