INJURY AND ILLNESS REPORTING. 1. All duty-related injuries or illnesses which require medical treatment shall be reported to the appropriate immediate supervisor within 24 hours. If the employee is incapacitated or other extenuating circumstances exist, rendering the employee unable to report the injury or illness within 24 hours, then the employee or their representative shall report the injury or illness as soon as physically possible.
