Inpatient Hospice Services. For short-term care, inpatient hospice services shall be covered in a facility designated by GHC's Hospice Program or GHC-approved hospice program when authorized in advance by a GHC Provider and GHC's Hospice Program or GHC-approved hospice program. Inpatient respite care is covered for a maximum of five (5) consecutive days per occurrence in order to continue care for the Member in the temporary absence of the Member’s primary care giver(s).
