Inspection and Test Status. β The inspection and test status of products shall be identified by a suitable means that indicates the conformance or nonconformance of a product regarding the inspection and test performed. The identification of inspection and test status shall be maintained, as defined in the Quality Management Plan and, as applicable, documented procedures, throughout the production, installation, and servicing of the product to ensure that only product that has passed the required inspections and tests is dispatched, used, or installed.
