Institute Representatives. (a) The Company acknowledges that Institute officers or employees appointed as representatives by the Institute will be required from time to time to leave their Company duties in order to perform, on behalf of the Institute, functions provided for in this Agreement. It is expected that Institute members will inform supervision of such absences from the workplace and will endeavour to ensure that these absences do not result in operational difficulties.

Institute Representatives. H1.01 The Employer acknowledges the right of the Institute to appoint employees as representatives to act on behalf of the Institute for purposes of representing individual employee and bargaining unit concerns.
Institute Representatives. The Employer acknowledges the right of the Institute to elect or appoint Institute Representatives from amongst the members of the bargaining unit to act on behalf of the Institute for purposes of representing individual employee and bargaining unit concerns. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave with pay: to an Institute Representative to attend training sessions concerning employee relations sponsored by the Employer; to an employee who makes a complaint, or to an employee or an Institute Representative who acts on behalf of an employee a complaint to the Public Service Staff Relations Board pursuant to Section of the Public Service Staff Relations Act; to an employee called as a witness before the Public Service Staff Relations Board by an employee or the Institute; to an employee representing the Institute or called a witness by the Institute by an Arbitration Board or Conciliation Board, by the fact-finder appointed under in an alternate dispute resolution process pursuant to or by a designation review panel established pursuant to of the Public Service Staff Relations Act; to an employee who is a party to an adjudication, who represents an employee who is a party to an adjudication, or who is called as a witness by an employee who is a party to an adjudication; to an employee who presents a grievance to the Employer, who represents an employee who presents a grievance, or with whom the Employer seeks to meet in connection with a grievance; to an employee and to the Institute Representative of the employee for purposes of discussing a grievance; and to an Institute Representative to attend meetings with management.   • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur.
