Institutional Commitments. A. The Responsibilities of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program are to: 1. Publicize the availability of the agreement; 2. Make the University of Bridgeport application materials available to students interested in participating in this agreement; 3. Counsel and/or advise CT-CCNP students interested in attending the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Bridgeport. 4. Identify prospective students interested in enrolling in the RN to BSN Program and share the information with the University of Bridgeport; 5. Designate personnel to work with staff at the University of Bridgeport to implement an effective communication plan to interested students; and 6. Work with the University of Bridgeport staff/faculty to coordinate information sessions for prospective students. B. The Responsibilities of the University of Bridgeport are to: 1. Designate the Nursing Admission Counselor to serve as the point of contact for students interested in, and admitted to, the RN to BSN Program at the University of Bridgeport; 2. Develop a fee-waived application for CT-CCNP students interested in the RN to BSN Program; 3. Designate the faculty advisor and other personnel to be the points of contact for the agreement; 4. Ensure that the University of Bridgeport faculty advisor and staff provide planned advisement sessions for each of the five participating community colleges; and 5. Work with CT-CCNP personnel to coordinate information sessions for prospective students. 6. With student permission, share the enrolled and graduated University of Bridgeport RN- BSN students’ names that are CT-CCNP graduates, on a semester basis with the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program. C. The Joint Responsibilities of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program and the University of Bridgeport are to: 1. Conduct forums/workshops for counselors, admissions representatives, department chairs and other identified staff from both institutions to discuss expectations, review program requirements, develop promotional materials, and discuss curriculum and course equivalencies; and make available system to system informational/marketing materials for the agreement. The Connecticut Community College Nursing Program and University of Bridgeport agree that in the performance of this Articulation Agreement they will not discriminate nor permit discrimination against any person or groups of persons on the basis of race, color, religious creed, sex, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, ancestry, present or past history of mental disability, genetic information, marital status, mental retardation, sexual orientation, learning disability, or physical disability or in any manner prohibited by federal or state law and regulations, and further, that they will make their programs available to qualified disabled persons consistent with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the regulations issued pursuant thereto.

2. ) Designate a nursing faculty advisor as the point of contact for students registered and taking classes in the part-time online RN-BSN degree completion program.
3) Develop a fee-waived application code for CT-CCNP students interested in the part-time RN to BSN Program;

4. ) Ensure that the University of Bridgeport faculty advisor and QU Online Admissions staff provide provides planned advisement information sessions for at each of the five six participating community colleges; and.

2. Develop a fee-waived application for CT-CCNP students interested in the RN to BSN Dual Admission Program;
3. Designate the faculty advisor and other personnel to be the points of contact for the agreementDual Admission Program;
4. Ensure Provide at least (or at a minimum) one group advising session once per semester at each CT-CCNP that the University of Bridgeport faculty advisor and staff provide planned advisement sessions for each of the five participating community colleges; andhas identified dual admission students.
