Common use of INSTITUTIONAL NOTES Clause in Contracts

INSTITUTIONAL NOTES. In connection with the issuance of notes described in the prospectus supplement for the Hartford Life Global Funding Secured Medium-Term Note program (the "INSTITUTIONAL NOTES"), as amended and supplemented and included in the Registration Statement, nothing in the Distribution Agreement shall be construed to limit or restrict the ability of the Trust to issue and sell Institutional Notes directly to any Agent or to any other underwriter pursuant to a distribution agreement other than the Distribution Agreement; PROVIDED, that the terms of such other distribution agreement shall be no more favorable to such underwriter than the Distribution Agreement.
