Common use of Insurable crop group Clause in Contracts

Insurable crop group. (1) An insurable crop group is a group of insurable crops for which premium discounts or surcharges and performance indexes are calculated and applied. (2) An insurable crop is those crops, varieties or groups of crops that have been approved for insurance coverage by the Board and for which Schedules have been prepared and approved. (3) All acres of an insurable crop group, as identified in section 7, must be offered for insurance coverage in order to have a valid contract of insurance.
