Common use of Intellectual Property Disputes Clause in Contracts

Intellectual Property Disputes. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary set forth in this Agreement, if a dispute arises under this Agreement with respect to the validity, scope, enforceability, or ownership of any Patent Right or other intellectual property rights, and such dispute is not resolved in accordance with Section 15.1 (Executive Officers; Disputes), then such dispute will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in the jurisdiction in which such Patent Right or other intellectual property right was granted or arose.
