Interaction with Global Settlement Clause Samples
The 'Interaction with Global Settlement' clause defines how the terms of a specific agreement relate to or are affected by any broader, overarching settlement agreements that may exist between the parties. In practice, this clause clarifies whether the obligations, rights, or remedies under the current contract are superseded, modified, or preserved in light of a global settlement, such as one resolving multiple disputes or claims at once. Its core function is to prevent conflicts or ambiguities between individual agreements and comprehensive settlements, ensuring that the parties understand how their commitments interact and are not inadvertently duplicated or contradicted.
Interaction with Global Settlement. Notwithstanding any contrary provision in the Global Settlement, payments to cover attorneys’ fees and costs under this Agreement (“Washington Fees and Costs”) shall be made pursuant to this Section V.
