Intercept and Referral Announcements. 6.1 When a Customer changes its service provider from Verizon to a Reseller and does not retain its original telephone number, Verizon shall provide a referral announcement (“Referral Announcement”) on the abandoned telephone number which provides the Customer’s new number or other appropriate information, to the extent known to Verizon. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Verizon shall not be obligated under this section to provide a Referral Announcement if the Customer owes Verizon unpaid overdue amounts or the Customer requests that no Referral Announcement be provided. When a Customer changes its service provider from a Reseller to Verizon, and does not retain its original telephone number, iNetworks shall provide (or cause to be provided) a Referral Announcement on the abandoned telephone number which provides the Customer’s new number or other appropriate information, to the extent known to iNetworks. Notwithstanding the foregoing, iNetworks shall not be obligated under this section to provide a Referral Announcement if the Reseller owes iNetworks unpaid overdue amounts in connection with the abandoned telephone number, the Customer owes the Reseller unpaid overdue amounts or the Customer requests that no Referral Announcement be provided. 6.2 Referral Announcements shall be provided, in the case of business Customers, for a period of not less than one hundred and twenty (120) days after the date the Customer changes its telephone number, and, in the case of residential Customers, not less than thirty (30) days after the date the Customer changes its telephone number; provided that if a longer time period is required by Applicable Law, such longer time period shall apply. Except as otherwise provided by Applicable Law, the period for a referral may be shortened by the Party formerly providing service if a number shortage condition requires reassignment of the telephone number. 6.3 This referral announcement will be provided by each Party at no charge to the other Party; provided that Verizon may bill a former Verizon Customer Verizon’s standard Tariff charge, if any, for the referral announcement, and iNetworks may bill a Reseller iNetworks’ standard charge, if any, for the referral announcement.

If Tech Com has not tariffed such a service, it shall offer a Referral Announcement to Verizon for the same time period(s) specified in Verizon’s end user Tariffs or, if no time period is specified in Verizon’s end user Tariffs, both Parties shall provide a Referral Announcement in the case of business Customers, Customers for a period of not less than one hundred and twenty (120) days after the date the Customer changes its telephone number, and, in the case of residential Customers, not less than thirty (30) days after the date the Customer changes its telephone number; provided that if a longer time period is required by Applicable Law, such longer time period shall apply. 6.3 This referral announcement Subject to the terms of the Pricing Attachment this Referral Announcement will be provided by each Party at no charge to the other Party; charge, if any, set forth in its end user Tariff, provided that Verizon may bill if Tech Com has not tariffed the service, it shall provide a former Verizon Customer Referral Announcement at the same charge for a given class of Customers that is specified in Verizon’s end user Tariff. Nothing in this Section 6 shall prevent the Party formerly providing service from billing its former Customer its standard Tariff charge, if any, for the referral announcement, and iNetworks may bill a Reseller iNetworks’ standard charge, if any, for Customer orders the referral announcementservice directly from the Party formerly providing service.
