Interconnection Feasibility Study Sample Clauses

The Interconnection Feasibility Study clause outlines the process by which a proposed project or facility's ability to connect to an existing network—such as an electrical grid or telecommunications system—is evaluated. Typically, this involves a technical assessment conducted by the network operator to determine whether the interconnection is possible without adversely affecting system reliability or performance. The study may analyze factors like available capacity, required upgrades, and potential impacts on other users. Its core function is to ensure that new connections are technically viable and to identify any necessary modifications or costs before proceeding, thereby reducing the risk of unforeseen technical or financial obstacles.
Interconnection Feasibility Study. Either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study. Transmission Provider, Interconnection Customer, or the Interconnected Transmission Owner. Interconnection Parties shall mean all of them.
Interconnection Feasibility Study. The requirements specified in Section 6 of NorthWestern Energy’s LGIP shall apply to any Interconnection Feasibility Study. However, the tendered Interconnection Feasibility Study Agreement will be a single form of agreement among all the Owners and the Interconnection Customer. Only a single Interconnection Feasibility Study deposit will be required to be submitted to NorthWestern Energy for the study.
Interconnection Feasibility Study. Converted to System Impact Study upon elimination of all but one interconnection option.
Interconnection Feasibility Study. A preliminary evaluation of the system impact and cost of interconnecting the Generating Facility to the Administered Transmission System, the scope of which is described in Section 3.3 of the Standard Small Generator Interconnection Procedures. The Interconnection Customer has the option to request either that the Interconnection Feasibility Study be completed as a separate and distinct study, or as part of the Interconnection System Impact Study. If the Interconnection Customer requests that the Interconnection Feasibility Study be completed as part of the Interconnection System Impact Study, Section 3.3 shall be performed as the first step of the Interconnection System Impact Study, and shall be regarded as part of the Interconnection System Impact Study. When the requirements of Section 3.3 are performed as part of the Interconnection System Impact Study, the Interconnection Customer shall be responsible only for the deposit requirements of the Interconnection System Impact Study, and there shall be only one final report, which will include the results of both Section 3.3 and Section 3.4.
