Common use of INTEREST OF THE COMMONWEALTH AND OTHERS Clause in Contracts

INTEREST OF THE COMMONWEALTH AND OTHERS. No officer, member or employee of the Commonwealth and no member of its General Assembly, who exercises any functions or responsibilities under this contract, shall participate in any decision relating to this contract which affects his personal interest or the interest of any corporation, partnership or association in which he is, directly or indirectly, interested; nor shall any such officer, member or employee of the Commonwealth or member of its General Assembly have interest, direct or indirect, in this contract or the proceeds thereof.
