Common use of Interest Payable to Issuing Banks by Banks Clause in Contracts

Interest Payable to Issuing Banks by Banks. To the extent that any Bank shall fail to pay any amount required to be paid pursuant to Sections 2.2(d) or (e) on the due date therefor, such Bank shall pay interest to the Issuing Bank owed such amount (through the Agent) on such amount from and including such due date to but excluding the date such payment is made at a rate per annum equal to the Federal Funds Rate.
