Common use of Interest Rate for Fixed Account Value Clause in Contracts

Interest Rate for Fixed Account Value. The value in the Fixed Account is guaranteed to accumulate at the minimum Fixed Account Guaranteed Interest Rate, which is shown in Section 1, Contract Data. We may credit a rate in excess of the Fixed Account Guaranteed Interest Rate shown in Section 1, Contract Data, while the contract is in force. We may change the interest rate credited to new deposits at any time. We will not change the interest rate credited to funds in the Fixed Account more often than once each year.
