Common use of Interim route Clause in Contracts

Interim route. In the event that the road works mentioned in subclause (2) are not completed by the time therein mentioned the Minister after consultation with the Commissioner of Main Roads, the relevant local authority and the Company shall determine an interim route for use by the Company for its transport requirements under this Agreement pending completion of those works. The Company shall not be required to make any capital contribution to any upgrading of the interim route necessary for the use thereof by the Company but shall pay such reasonable proportion of the cost of maintaining the interim route during its use as is agreed by the Minister, after consultation with the Commissioner of Main Roads and the relevant local authority, and the Company.
