Interim Superintendent. Until a Superintendent is hired and begins rendering service, the Interim Superintendent/Leadership Advisor shall perform all functions of the job of Superintendent as prescribed by the laws of the state of California and any applicable District class specifications and District policy. All duties shall be executed in accordance with federal and state law, the rules, and regulations of the State Board of Education, and District policy. In addition to the powers and duties enumerated in Education Code section 35035, the Interim Superintendent/Leadership Advisor shall have charge of the administration of schools under the direction of the Board. He shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the District; shall direct and assign teachers and other employees of the schools under his supervision; shall organize, reorganize, and arrange the administrative and supervisory staff, subject to the approval of the Board, including instruction and business affairs, as best serves the District; shall select all personnel subject to the approval of the Board; shall from time to time suggest regulations, rules, and procedures deemed necessary for the administration of the District; and, in general, perform all duties incident to the Office of the Superintendent and such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time. The Interim Superintendent/Leadership Advisor agrees that, to the best of his ability and experience, he will at all times loyally and conscientiously perform all of the services, duties, and obligations required of him either expressly or implicitly by the terms of this Agreement, the laws of the state of California, and rules, regulations, and policies of the Board. In accordance with direction from the Board, the Interim Superintendent/Leadership Advisor shall advise and assist the Board in the formulation of policies for the governing of the District and shall also serve as Secretary to the Board. The Interim Superintendent/Leadership Advisor may certify or attest to actions taken or decisions made by the Board, as authorized by law.

Interim Superintendent. President shall serve under the direction of the Board and shall have the responsibilities, on an interim basis, of diligently, competently, and professionally performing the job duties of the Interim Superintendent/President, as more fully described in the job description developed by the Board and the California Education Code, as well as rules and regulations of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, and the rules, regulations, policies and directives of the Board. Interim Superintendent/President shall carry out such orders and duties as may legally be delegated to him by the Board.
Interim Superintendent. President shall notify the Board of his intent to apply for employment elsewhere and the reasons therefore. The Interim Superintendent/President shall further notify the Board if he becomes a candidate for employment elsewhere and of any interviews scheduled with another employer prior to the interview. The failure of the Interim Superintendent/President to follow these requirements shall be deemed to constitute a material breach of this Agreement, and the District may then terminate this Agreement with the Superintendent/President for cause as set forth above.

Interim Superintendent. “Improving outcomes for Esquimalt Nation students requires us to listen to the voices of the Esquimalt Nation as we have joint accountability in learning and moving forward. This Local Education Agreement creates the foundation for a strong relationship between the District and local Nation to flourish.
Interim Superintendent. Principal recognizes that District has and will have confidential student, employee, and possibly other types ofinformation and records that it cannot be compelled to disclose under the California Public Records Act. Interim Superintendent/Principal shall comply with all federal and state laws and district policy, administrative regulations, and practices concerning disclosure of such information/documents/records. A violation of this paragraph shall constitute a material breach of this Contract. The confidentiality provisions of this Contract shall remain in full force and effect following termination of services under this Contract.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work.   • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.9.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the Project Manager at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.9.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.9.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the district and shall be responsible for implementing Board policy. He shall organize the administrative and supervisory staff, and select, place, and transfer personnel with the concurrence of the Board. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Board Supervision All of the functions undertaken by the Investment Manager hereunder shall at all times be subject to the direction of the Board of Directors, its executive committee, or any committee or officers of the Company acting under the authority of the Board of Directors.

  • Construction Bonds, Insurance and Supervision (i) The Recipient shall require that each of its Contractors furnish a performance and payment bond in an amount at least equal to 100 percent (100%) of its contract price as security for the faithful performance of its contract. (ii) The Recipient shall require that each of its construction contractors and each subcontractor maintain during the life of its contract or subcontract appropriate Workers Compensation Insurance, Public Liability, Property Damage and Vehicle Liability Insurance. (iii) The Recipient shall provide and maintain competent and adequate project management covering the supervision and inspection of the development and construction of the Project and bearing the responsibility of ensuring that construction conforms with the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications and certifying to the OPWC and the Recipient at the completion of construction that construction is in accordance with the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications or approved amendments thereto.

  • Action by the Superintendent The Superintendent shall determine which of the alternative courses of action is proper and shall take appropriate action to implement such determination.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.
