Common use of Internal Practices, Books, and Records Clause in Contracts

Internal Practices, Books, and Records. Business Associate shall make available its internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, created, or received by Business Associate on behalf of Logicalis or the Covered Entity to the Secretary or his or her agents for the purpose of determining Logicalis or the Covered Entity’s compliance with the Privacy Standards.

Internal Practices, Books, and Records. Business Associate shall make available its internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, created, or received by Business Associate on behalf of Logicalis or the Covered Entity to the Secretary U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services or his or her its agents for the purpose of determining Logicalis or the Covered Entity’s compliance with the Privacy StandardsHIPAA Rules, or any other health oversight agency, or to the Covered Entity.

The Business Associate shall make available its internal practices, policies, procedures, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received fromfrom Covered Entity, created, created or received by the Business Associate on behalf of Logicalis or the Covered Entity Entity, to the Secretary or his or her agents for the purpose of determining Logicalis or the Covered Entity’s 's compliance with HIPAA Rules. Records requested that are not protected by an applicable legal privilege will be made available in the Privacy Standardstime and manner specified by the Secretary.
