Common use of Internal Practices, Books, and Records Clause in Contracts

Internal Practices, Books, and Records. Business Associate shall make available its Internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, created, or received by Business Associate on behalf of the Covered Entity to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or its agents for the purpose of determining compliance with the HIPAA Rules, or any other health oversight agency, or to the Covered Entity.

Business Associate shall make available its Internal internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, created, or received by Business Associate on behalf of Logicalis or the Covered Entity to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary or its his or her agents for the purpose of determining Logicalis or the Covered Entity’s compliance with the HIPAA Rules, or any other health oversight agency, or to the Covered EntityPrivacy Standards.
