Common use of Interpretation and Headings Clause in Contracts

Interpretation and Headings. Wherever in this Charge the singular or masculine is used, the same shall be construed as meaning the plural or the feminine or the neuter where the context or the parties so require. The headings do not form part of this document and have been inserted for convenience of reference only. This Charge shall be interpreted, enforced and governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia. If any provision of this Charge shall be prohibited by or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall not invalidate the remaining provisions of this Charge.
