Common use of Interpretation and Headings Clause in Contracts

Interpretation and Headings. In this Agreement: (a) headings are inserted for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this Agreement; (b) words importing the singular number include the plural and vice versa, and words importing gender include masculine, feminine and neuter; (c) any reference to “this Agreement” shall be a reference to this credit agreement as it may from time to time be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified in accordance with the provisions hereof; (d) references to “herein”, “hereunder” and similar expressions shall be a reference to this Agreement and not to any particular section;
