Introduction, Appendices and Commentary. The introduction to this Agreement and the appendices attached to it are an integral part of it. The division of this Agreement into sections and sub-sections, and the headings appearing in it, were made purely for convenience, and should not be used for the purpose of its interpretation. In this Agreement, what is said in the singular also means the plural, and vice versa, and what is said in the masculine also means the feminine, and vice versa, everything according to the case, unless it is explicitly stated otherwise.
Introduction, Appendices and Commentary. 2.1. The preamble to this Agreement and its appendices are an integral part of it. Matters, terms and obligations appearing in the appendices to this Agreement, even if they are not included in the body of the Agreement, are an integral and binding part of the Agreement.
2.2. The headings of the clauses are provided for the convenience of the reader only, and no use should be made of them in the interpretation of the agreement.
2.3. In the event of a contradiction between a provision of this Agreement and a provision of the Appendices to the Agreement, the provisions of the Agreement shall prevail.
2.4. Any changes, amendments and/or additions to the Agreement shall not be effective unless they are made in writing and signed by all parties to this Agreement.
2.5. This agreement shall not be construed against its drafter and shall be deemed to have been drafted by all parties.
