Common use of Investigations and Remediations Clause in Contracts

Investigations and Remediations. Sublessee shall have responsibility and shall pay for any investigations or remediation measures required by governmental entities having jurisdiction with respect to the existence of Hazardous Substances brought onto or released in, on or under the Subleased Premises by or for Sublessee or Sublessee’s employees, contractors, agents, invitees, licensees or permitted sub-sublessees or assignees. Sublessee shall cooperate fully in any such activities at the request of Sublessor or Master Lessor, including allowing Sublessor and Master Lessor and their respective employees and agents to have reasonable access to the Subleased Premises at reasonable times in order to carry out any investigative and remedial actions which Sublessor or Master Lessor may elect to do.
