Irrigation Repair. A. Proper irrigation system maintenance includes the overall supervision of the system, controller scheduling, routine adjustments, and necessary repairs.
B. Failure of the system to provide full and proper coverage shall not relieve the Contractor of providing adequate coverage. Any plant material adversely impacted by irrigation failures shall be promptly replaced with same plant material at no cost to the City.
C. Contractor is responsible for repairs to irrigation systems beginning downstream of the backflow device to all components downstream including mainline, control valve, lateral piping, sprinkler heads and fittings.
D. Contractor is responsible for repairs to all components of the irrigation booster pumps upstream and downstream of the backflow device.
E. Contractor is not responsible for maintaining backflow devices.

Irrigation Repair. Needed repairs from normal wear and tear are included in this contract, up to 1” in diameter for pipe, nozzles, and fittings. Any vandalism, accident or other unforeseen events will be reported to the property representative immediately. Urban Habitat will also notify the property representatives of corrective repairs needed and are in addition to this contract. Any additional work will be completed under a separate approved “Additional Work Authorization” contract.
