Common use of Issuance of cheque books Clause in Contracts

Issuance of cheque books. Issuance of cheque books shall be at the Bank’s sole discretion. Cheque books will not be issued if the Customer is under the age of 18 years. The Customer may withdraw cash against cheques, which shall be drawn on forms issued or approved by the Bank, or against written orders to pay. Withdrawals by any other means may be permitted at the Bank’s discretion. The Customer shall protect the cheque book delivered to the Customer and should inform the Bank if the Customer loses it or any of its cheques. The Customer shall be solely responsible for any damages, which may result from having the cheque book, or any of its cheques kept with any of the Customer’s successor(s) or a third party.
