Common use of Issuance of Letters of Credit for Account of Subsidiaries Clause in Contracts

Issuance of Letters of Credit for Account of Subsidiaries. Upon request of the Borrower, Letters of Credit may be issued for the account of Subsidiaries of the Borrower. In such event, the Borrower shall be deemed to have irrevocably guarantied payment of the obligations of each Subsidiary in respect of Letters of Credit issued for the account of such Subsidiary, and if requested by the Bank, the Borrower shall, together with such Subsidiary, enter into the Letter of Credit Agreement as co-applicant or guarantor, and shall execute and deliver such other instrument of guaranty as shall be required by the Agent.
