Common use of JOINT VENTURERS MAY BE DISCHARGED Clause in Contracts

JOINT VENTURERS MAY BE DISCHARGED. Where any agreement that is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement is entered into by the Joint Venturers with some other company or person and results in that other company or person discharging all or any of the obligations undertaken by the Joint Venturers under this Agreement or renders it unnecessary for the Joint Venturers to discharge any obligation undertaken by them hereunder the Minister may discharge or temporarily relieve the Joint Venturers from such part of their obligations as is reasonable having regard to the extent of and the period during which the other company or person actually effects the discharge of those obligations.
